Yup, it is Blog Roll time once again. Let’s check out some more of the excellent blogs out there.
Legion Abstract: Matthew cranks out one excellently written blog. As the name indicates, this blog is dedicated to my all time favorite comic book: The Legion of Super Heroes. Matthew posts review of the latest issues of the Legion as well as reviews of the latest episodes of the Legion of Super Heroes Animated Series. A
ll the reviews are enjoyable. Plus, Matthew posts some incredibly interesting and perceptive commentary about the Legion in general. His latest post about what defines the Legion and what to do with the Legion in the face of a return of the Multiverse is just an example of the great musings that Matthew posts on this blog.
Legion of Doom: This is one seriously entertaining team blog. The Legion of Doom boasts 6 team members: Colonel Doom, Doom Delouise, Doominator, Fin Fang Doom, Jean-Claude Van Doom and Jim Doom. This team of bloggers post some great comic book reviews. They also discuss current events in the world of comics. Plus, they post previews of certain new issues. I love the tone and sense of humor that these guys have.
Legion Omnicon: Yup, this is also a blog dedicate to my beloved Legion of Super Heroes. Michael serves up one of the best blogs you will ever see. No lie. It is well designed and easy to navigate. Plus, Michael is constantly updates this blog. And his posts are crammed full of details and have plenty of links. Michael posts reviews and commentary about anything and everything that is even remotely related to the Legion of Super Heroes.
Michael also posses an encyclopedic knowledge of the Legion of Super Heroes. I own every issue that the Legion has ever appeared in, however, and I can barely remember what happened in an issue of the Legion from a month ago. Michael could tell you what Matter-Eater Lad ate in the 3rd panel of Adventure Comics #328. I’m also pretty sure that Michael is fluent in Interlac. Michael’s blog is definitely the ultimate Legion blog around. Even if you don’t dig the Legion, you’ll still probably enjoy this blog.
Mister Fanboy: Fanboy serves up an always entertaining blog. Fanboy’s post range from comic books to cartoons to comic book related movies to Telly Savalas’ private orgy. Now if that doesn’t get you to check it out, nothing will! Fanboy has a good sense of humor and his posts often get me chuckling. Fanboy also posts commentary on all things related to comic books. Personally, I really enjoyed it when Fanboy took us down memory lane during his Super Friends Appreciation Week Celebration.
