BOOM! Studios Preview: Power Rangers Prime #6

Power Rangers Prime has presented us with a brand new continuity with the Eltarians in charge even before the Mighty Morphin team were able to appear. That changed everything as the Power Rangers became an extinct part of this continuity. Recent issues of the series have shown there is still life as a new Power Rangers team has risen up. Now BOOM! Studios has provided us with an advance preview of April’s Power Rangers #6 to share.

Be warned the preview for Power Rangers Prime #6 below does contain spoilers for the fifth issue that is set to release on Wednesday, March 26th. If you want to avoid any sorts of spoilers come back to check out this preview after reading Power Rangers Prime #5.

As mentioned, the most recent issue of the series was the debut of the full Prime Rangers team. This team combine two former Rangers in the previous continuity in Lauren Shiba and Orion with a cast of new characters introduced in this series.

One of these new characters is Markon Zhao, an Aquitarian whose roomates with Orion and the Prime Blue Ranger. And as you’ll see in the preview below, Power Rangers Prime #6 is set to give a bigger spotlight on Markon’s character. That is something teased in the solicitation:

Ryan’s relentless interrogation uncovers a painful past leading up to Mark’s refugee status on Earth! Can our newfound hero endure the harsh conditions of the internment camp to embrace his hidden power within?

The main cover for Power Rangers Prime #6 is being done by all-star artist Dan Mora, with additional variant covers from artists Miguel Mercado, Nimit Malavia, Keyla Valerio, Alessio Zonno, and Bon Bernardo also available. Check out the covers and five-page preview below:
