Dardos Award

Patrick over at Knight and Stars was cool enough to give The Revolution a Dardos Award. I appreciate the love and always love winning any type of award. On behalf of Jim, Shawn and Nagacore, I would like to thanks Patrick for passing this award on to us.

Evidently, the Dardos Award is “an award given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.” Heh, I never thought anything I created would ever be considered “value.”

And, the Dardos Award also comes along with two rules:

1. Accept the award by posting it on your blog along with the name of the person that has granted the award and a link to his/her blog. (Let’s throw another link to Patrick’s Knight and Stars blog because I am feeling frisky at the moment.)

2. Pass the award to another five blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment, remembering to contact each of them to let them know they have been selected for this award.

It is going to be tough for me to pick just five blogs from all the blogs that I follow. I honestly do love all the blogs that I follow. I have no clue if any of the blogs I am about to award a Dardos to have ever gotten one before. And if they have, well then that is just how damn good they are.

Doomkopf The boys of Doom deserve some love for all the great work that they do on this blog. These guys post frequently and with quality. This is a great place to check out reviews of a wide range of comic books as well as commentary about the comic book industry in general.

Speed Force Kelson delivers a fantastic blog that centers on anything and everything that has to do with the Flash family. Seriously, this is the definitive website for the speedsters of the DCU. Speed Force is well written and entertaining.

The Legion Omnicom Michael is the guru of all things Legion related. Period. No one else comes close to what Michael has done for the Legion of Super Heroes community. And the Legion Omnicom is the best resource on the ‘net for Legion fans. Do yourself a favor and check out this blog.

Weekly Crisis Kirk does a wonderful job with this blog. This is an informative and entertaining website that covers a wide range of topics concerning the comic book industry. Kirk give you previews, reviews and commentary. There is a little bit of something for everyone.

Collected Editions If you love trades then this is the blog for you. Collected Editions cranks out some fantastic reviews and delivers some very dependable recommendations. Before I ever purchase a trade I check out Collected Editions first.
