Energon Universe Preview: Void Rivals #12

Void Rivals #12 will be looking to keep the Energon Universe momentum going strong in August. This latest issue will conclude the second story arc of the series. Now, ahead of its August 28th release Skybound and Image Comics have provided us a first look at Void Rivals #12 share.

The build towards the end of the second story arc for the series has had a lot going on. Writer Robert Kirkman, artist Lorenzo De Felici, colorist Patricio Delpeche, and letterer Rus Wooton have both expanded on Void Rivals‘ world-building and the connections to the Transformers franchise. Based on how things have gone there is no telling where Darak and Solila will end up at the end of this second story arc. Their fates are teased in the solicitation:

After what they’ve endured in the wasteland, are Darak and Solila now destined to walk separate paths? Where Solila goes now, Darak cannot follow…or can he? What will be Springer’s final fate? And what are the Quintessons planning now? Each issue of Void Rivals promises to take readers further into the Energon Universe, with more familiar faces to appear.

Void Rivals #12 main cover will be handled by series artist Lorenzo De Felici. Additionally, variant covers will be available being done by artists Stefano Simone, André Lima Araújo & Chris O’Halloran, Chris Stevens, and Jorge Fornés. You can check out the covers and three-page preview below.
