The first look for one of July’s big releases in Hello Darkness #1 is here! Releasing by BOOM! Studios, Hello Darkness is a brand-new anthology series that features an A-list line-up of comic book creators. This preview gives us a glimpse of stories by Jude Ellison S. Doyle, Letizia Cadonici, Steve Orlando, A.L. Kaplan, James Tynion, Werther Dell’Edera, and Sarah Anderson, just to name a few.
As an anthology series Hello Darkness will have a mix stories from the horror, fantasy, and mystery genres. That is something teased in the solicitation for the first issue:

Complimenting the A-list creators working on stories for this new BOOM! Studios series, a new Something is Killing the Children story will take place over the course of the first six issues. There will also be a story titled “The War” by Garth Ennis and Becky Cloonan that will be taking place during the first 7 issues.
