All right, we have yet another ridiculously large shipment of comic books headed to the Bunker this week. Thom and I definitely have our work cut out for us this week. We have a total of 22 titles headed to the Bunker. This week is heavier with Marvel titles, but DC is serving up several titles that have the potential to be real gems.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That is a tough choice as we get flooded with plenty of strong reads from DC this week. Since I am enjoying Morrison’s Final Crisis, it is no surprise that I am looking forward to reading DCU: Last Will and Testament. Plus, I dig Meltzer and almost always enjoy his work.

I am certainly excited to read Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge #2. Johns did a great job with the debut issue of this title. It should be fun watching the Rogues setting out to deliver a bit of payback on Inertia.

Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #1 is another title that has piqued my interest. I love Morrison’s work on All Star Superman, so I am eager to see how Morrison handles Superman in this story. Plus, I am interested in learning more about the mysterious woman who enlisted Superman’s aid in Final Crisis #3.

Legion of Super Heroes #45 should be an action packed read. Shooter continues to deftly juggle a myriad of plotlines all while maintaining a pleasant pace. I plan on enjoying what Shooter is doing with this title before Johns stomps all over it with his story on Final Crisis: Legions of Three Worlds.

However, the DC comic book that I am most looking forward to reading is Justice Society of America #18. I am completely enthralled by Johns’ Gog storyline. I am curious to see what is up with Power Girl and her adventure on Earth-Two. I am also interested in seeing what Gog does next.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? I am less psyched to read Trinity #13. This title is not awful, but it certainly is not anything interesting enough to get excited about.

However, the DC comic book that I am least looking forward to reading is Teen Titans #62. This title has steadily gone downhill ever since Johns left. And the fact that my favorite member of the team, Ravager, is now off the roster does absolutely nothing to get me to want to keep Teen Titans on my pull list.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? Kick Ass #4 should be another highly entertaining read. Millar has done a great job on this rather quirky and unusual title.

I am also looking forward to Wolverine: First Class #6. This title has been an absolute blast. It is so much fun reading Wolverine before Marvel completely ruined his character. If you dig the classic Claremont version of Wolverine before he got his memories back and before he became a dog-boy then you will dig this title.

Still, in the end, I had to go with Wolverine #68 as the Marvel comic book that I am most looking forward to reading. This is the best that Wolverine has been in years. I love this bizarre post-apocalyptic world that Millar has created. There is no doubt that we will get an action packed issue with several twists and turns in Wolverine #68.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Amazing Spider-Man #569. Nuff said.
