Well, this is a pretty small week for the Revolution. But, just because the number of titles is few does not mean that some quality books aren’t coming out. Last week was a monstrous week with Infinite Crisis #7 wrapping everything up and Civil War #1 kicking everything off. This week is obviously not as huge, but it has several gems.

The comic book that I am most looking forward to is 52 #1. This series is going to be huge! Just when you thought you could catch your breath with the end of Infinite Crisis, think again! Here comes 52. DC’s ambitious and revolutionary project about the missing year between the end of Infinite Crisis and the beginning of the One Year Later storylines. 52 will be coming to you weekly for an entire year. Sweet. I have very high hopes for this series. It should be interesting to discover all the changes that Infinite Crisis brought to this New Earth.

Battle For Bludhaven is a great title that I think is flying under the radar. Highly entertaining and once I finish an issue I can’t wait for the next issue to arrive.

I’m also looking forward to Superman #652. I thought that Johns and Busiek really cranked it up with the last issue in this storyline. I am eager to see just what Lex is up to.

What title am I least looking forward to? That is easy. Uncanny X-Men #473. Ed Brubaker cannot start on this title soon enough.

Lastly, I’m only getting one manga title this week. Iron Wok Jan. It is a cooking manga in the style of Iron Chief. It is an original and unique manga. I found myself shocked by how much I liked this manga. You wouldn’t think a cooking manga would be interesting, but this one is definitely entertaining.
