All right, I’m back in the Revolution’s urban assault vehicle headed back up I-95 North going home after spending time for Thanksgiving with my family in Miami.

First, I have to apologize for being so slack with the reviews for this week. With all the food, family and football, I just didn’t have a lot of time to crank out reviews for all the comics that the Revolution got last week.

Second, even though this isn’t comic book related, I have to say that it is great visiting family, but it is equally nice leaving. My old neighborhood in Miami sucks. At night you can hear gunshots ring out. One night, I got to hear, not just gunshots, but what clearly sounded like an automatic weapon.

But, despite all the crime, I still love Miami. I love all the lechon, black beans, rice and yuca. It is cool not speaking English for an entire week no matter where you go. And all the lovely Latinas everywhere in skimpy outfits.

Having said that, I’m glad I worked hard and got a great education and made something of my life so I’m not still living in that lousy ghetto that I just visited. I’m glad I’m headed back home to my nice boring white bread neighborhood where people walk their dogs and say “hello” when they pass your porch.

Anyway, now that I’m almost back home to the Bunker, I promise to be better about cranking out timely reviews. I hope everyone out there had a great Thanksgiving weekend.

All right, now let’s talk comics, right? After all, that is why you come to the Revolution! Which DC comic am I most looking forward to reading? That is very tough. Green Lantern, Teen Titans and Batman are all great titles. I’m going to have to go with Teen Titans. Johns is creating one wild story with the return of Jericho. I am excited to see what Johns has in store for Jericho.

Which DC title am I least looking forward to reading? Honestly? None of them. But, if I were forced to pick one that I am least excited about then it would probably be Deathblow #2. I liked the first issue of Deathblow, but I didn’t think it was anything special.

Which Marvel title am I most looking forward to reading? This is easy. Immortal Iron Fist #1. C’mon, Iron Fist is a cool character with tons of potential. Plus, it is Ed Brubaker! Brubaker has never failed me so far, so I trust that I will enjoy this title. Which Marvel title am I least looking forward to reading? X-Men #193. Carey just hasn’t hooked me with this story arc. It isn’t bad; it just isn’t all that interesting.
