Void Rivals #15 Cover Reveals Spotlight Autobot Hot Rod

Void Rivals looks to be ending 2024 and enter 2025 hot. That is no small part from the to the latest Autobot that is finding their way into the pages of Void Rivals. Who is this Autobot? Well none other than Hot Rod. That’s right, writer Robert Kirkman (InvincibleThe Walking Dead) and Lorenzo De Felici, along with colorist Patricio Delpeche and letterer Rus Wooton, will be bringing the Autobot Hot Rod in Void Rivals #15, set to release on December 26th. Now ahead of that release Skybound and Image Comics has provided us with a first look at the variant covers to share.

The introduction of Hot Rod further drives home the important connection Void Rivals has to Transformers. We’ve seen how impactful the appearances of Jetfire and Springer have been to moving the series forward. There’s no doubt that Hot Rod, a key Transformers leader, will have a similar importance. That is certainly what is teased in the solicitation for Void Rivals #15:

LOS ANGELES 11/19/2024 — Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, revealed an impressive lineup of variant covers for Void Rivals #15, the next issue of the hit series from the Oblivion Song team of Robert Kirkman (InvincibleThe Walking Dead) and Lorenzo De Felici (Kroma), along with colorist Patricio Delpeche (The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country), and letterer Rus Wooton (Fire Power). The all-new chapter of the epic space opera hits comic book shops on December 26, 2024.

Each issue of Void Rivals promises to take readers further into the Energon Universe, with more familiar faces to appear including some of the most popular TRANSFORMERS bots, allies, and enemies!

Void Rivals #15 will feature a main cover by De Felici, along with a stacked lineup of variant covers including an open-to-order cover B by cover artist Chuma Hill, a 1:10 incentive variant continuing a connecting cover series by Leonardo Romero (cover artist, Mighty Marvel Masterworks), a 1:25 incentive variant by E.J.
